I always thought that winter was bad in Wisconsin. I see that they are getting ice and snow down in Texas and Arkansas. That is just too damn funny! They don't even have the equipment to deal with that either. Probably no scrapers or plows, no stockpiles of sand and salt. They are just totally screwed. Maybe they can break out the duct tape and plastic wrap, that might help. Yeah right. I see we have set a deadline for war now. Always nice to have this kinda thing on a timetable.

Hey... this worthless month is almost over now! Thank God. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. East Coast is totally fucked. Now they got the roof of Toy's R Us fallin' in on people? What the hell is going on over there? I can't believe nobody on Fox News was asking if this was terrorist related. Speaking of news channels, I was flipping through last night and turned on Headline News and who was reporting on there? Erica Hill. She used to be on one of my favorite channels - Tech TV. Guess that's why she isn't on there anymore I guess. Oh well, at least Cat is still on Tech TV. Purrr.

Friday, February 21
Ahhh.... Friday. What a bitch of a day it has been. Yesterday it was damn near 50 degrees outside and today it's less than half that, with highs expected to be around 5 come Monday. See, I always knew Monday sucked, now I have conclusive evidence.
Power surged at work today, lights went on, they went off, they strobed and flickered and the phone system shorted out. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to close the store and get me outta there early.
What the fuck is up with nightclubs lately? Last week they freaked in Chicago and killed like 20 people, and last night 95 (at time of writing this) in some stage stunt gone wrong. Is this some plot to get us to stop going out partying and drinking? Terrorists shit... I'm watching out for half rate bands playing with fireworks from now on. Maybe we could get these guys to give a couple free concerts in Iraq, that would take care of some of our problems... OK, maybe not.

Short day today. Set up Easter yesterday at work, yep that time already. Time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with some plastic eggs and some dancing chickens.
My website is finally done.... for now. Actually it is always a work in process, but I really like this new look, so for now it is updated and done. I would like to dabble with Macromedia Flash and put some Flash items on my page, so that will be the next thing I do to the page.
Got my taxes back and I am thinking of doing some computer upgrades with the leftover. I need to check out some prices first, but I think it will be cheaper than buying a whole new system.

It's Sunday and I feel good... Oh shit, that means I will have to go back to work tomorrow now. Oh well, whatever. I am working on my site again, it will have a completely fresh look to it, unfortunately it won't be too friendly to anyone without a broadband connection. Hey, it's 2003, get with it already.

Saturday, February 15
It's Saturday! I still have some kinda stomach thingy goin' on, but it's getting better. I haven't had the hot/cold feeling now like I did yesterday. Saw some hot air balloons going overhead today, apparently they were selling rides for some charity. Now that might be cool when it's summertime and 70 degrees out, but I believe we were somewhere around 18 today... so no fun as far as I'm concerned.
So! Valentine's Day is finally over. One question for the guys, did you get to sleep on the couch or on the wet spot? I woulda took the couch and saved the $50. I woulda bought a Snickers' bar and a Carnation. There, saving money and still bought ya something! Oh well, maybe that's why I'm not going anywhere for a while?
I watched the President's speech yesterday when I came home sick. He looks like a high schooler up there trying to get through a class. No clue what he is even saying until he reads the shit on the teleprompter or anything. I'm so glad I didn't vote for this worthless fuck.

Ok, what the hell happened here? I get some mondo shit virus for like the past 24 hours or something. I was up from 4-6 this morning in the bathroom almost nonstop. What the hell was that all about? Goddamn Valentine's Day anyway.
So... today is the day. It's Judgment day. No, not that stupid Colin Powell shit on CNN, (in case you're wondering, Colin Powell is to George Bush as Monica Lewinsky is to Bill Clinton - don't make me draw you a picture.) I mean it's buy some candy and flowers or sleep on the couch day. I am so glad this day turned into some major lame-ass holiday like this. Do you know the origins of Valentines? If not, too bad. I don't believe Hallmark, Candy, or Roses are anywhere in there though. Funny huh?

Holy shit, we reached 36 degrees or somewhere in that neighborhood. There was actually snow melting in the parking lots, it's about damn time.
Did you duct tape and plastic seal up your house yet? A couple problems here with this whole thing. Number one: There is no way in hell that you could actually seal your house up, not even a room. There are a lot of little cracks in the foundation, ceiling, walls etc... and there is no way you could seal them all up. Number two: If you actually managed to seal up your room airtight then you would SUFFOCATE!!! So I guess either way, you're fucked. Look on the bright side, tomorrow is Valentine's day... Of course, I couldn't give a shit about all that.

Wow, it's been an entire week since I wrote anything down in here. I guess life hasn't been all that exciting. Or maybe it has been and that's why I haven't had time to write anything down. Had company all weekend, worked late on Thursday, and kinda felt crappy the rest of the week, so I guess that would explain not putting anything down for a while.
I don't know what the temp is outside, but damn am I hella cold sitting here. I am about ready to go sit on the couch under a blanket...it's that bad. Hey, only 4 more days til Valentine's Day. Aren't you excited about that shit? I'm not.

It snowed last night. Not the half inch flurry shit we have grown accustomed to, nope, last night we got about 8". What a pain in the ass that was, school got canceled and everything, except I still had to go to work. How fair is that? Do you know what really pisses me off? You can't even see the damn road, yet all these stupid assholes in their big 4x4 pickup trucks seem to think that they should still be going the 65 miles/hour they go on a normal road. Like that 4x4 means shit. Just once...JUST ONCE I'd like to see one of these high and mighty cocksuckers speed past me and go into a spin and fly off the road and land upside down. Would serve them right the fucking bastards. Them and those semi sunofabitches. They don't stop for shit. I don't want to see one of them go crashing because they are too big and if they do that, somehow I know I will wind up in that damn accident too. I will just sit here and cross my fingers for spring to get its ass here ASAP.

Damn you groundhog!!! What the hell are you doing predicting six more weeks of winter? I think it's high time we take Punxsutawney Phil and make some nice slippers out of that sunofabitch. What in the hell kind of medieval superstitious bullshit is this anyway? Whatever the groundhog says is going to happen? Why don't we just go all out and make a Grandma's knee day where we go check out how stiff the old people are and make some predictions off of that. I am just waiting for them to commercialize this holiday too. I'm sure somewhere in a dark corner of Hallmark lies a Groundhog Day Card planner. Just wait, it'll be happening before you know it. If not, maybe we can start betting on what the dumb little rodent will do, it's just not the American way if we aren't wasting money on it somehow.

Well, it started as a good day. I can't say I am a Space Shuttle nut or anything, but it's never good to see something like that. So, instead of talking about that, I'm going to bitch about something. News coverage. This whole tragedy took place 16 minutes before landing, so they exploded and crashed into the earth in maybe 20 minutes time. The problem here is that no matter what time it was today, I turned on one of these news channels and I saw the shuttle streaking through the sky breaking up. How many fucking times do you have to show this? CNN had it on constantly, I'm assuming on a loop on the right side of the screen while they talked to anyone they could grab that's even looked into space. These news channels are nothing but warts on America's ass, and until they finally realize that their jobs are to report the news and not exploit it, they will always be a pain. I got a phone call this morning telling me about this and to turn on the TV, so I did and saw that on CNN, then I flipped to Fox News and the first thing these stupid bastards say is... "is there any indication this is terrorist related?". I turned off my television right there because I am so sick of these reporters (not journalists because journalists still have some integrity)... I am so sick of these reporters looking for any reason to inject terrorism into something like this just because it'd be good for the ratings. So CNN, FNC, and whatever other news channels there are out there, get a grip, get a life, and oh yeah...fuck you.
RIP to the Columbia Crew, and sorry to all their families that will have to endure the moment of their loved ones death's being played over and over on cable news channels.
